NGL, I was expecting him to light into both of them about, "How do you think you two have been making everyone around you feel with this farce, all these years?" lecture. He sort of did, but not to the degree I thought he should.

That little lore dump at the end makes it seem like there could have been more written for the story, like who were the other 2 old noble houses? How would the FMC be as queen, and would she and her hubby now correct the perception that other nations have of them? Would their children be the sterner, more decisive, breed that the country needed?

Well, it was short and enjoyable. No better or worse than the original one shot - it really was just an extension of it.
