Well there's the Harkness test.
I feel like the more that dragon guy doesn't like it then the less dragonesque it becomes.

In Lord of Mysteries, aside from the ancient dragons, Beyonders of the spectator pathway can turn into dragons starting at sequence 4 but only for a temporary period until the reach sequence 2.
