mmm. As a follow up to the previous chapter QC:0, this felt weak. So it was written by a kid who saw an alien one time and got killed for it? Okay. Don't really see how that links to the manga draft. Maybe there'll be another follow up later? I'm not holding my breath.

This one seems pretty straight forward: Tom grew up at Groom Lake and his family have an alien (alive or preserved) this was the premise behind “Tom and Cupi“, Cupi being the alien. When Tom showed one of his friends the alien either the government or the Men In Black (the man following them in the comic) ”disappeared” him which caused Tom’s family to have to move again. And then because the comic was made the same thing happened to the author.

I feel it's far more likely that the Alien was what ultimately claimed Orikawa's life. Tom was crying the entire time and kept apologizing for what happened, which makes me believe he (or possibly his father) deliberately lured Orikawa out there to "feed" the creature.

I just don't see why the MIB theory would have such detailed awareness of events in Japan that they'd go out of their way to abduct and kill a kid, yet leave the rest of the family completely alone and allow them to escape.

Another possibility: Cupi befriended Orikawa and escaped Tom's house with him, evading the senior Kane/other agents/whatever. Something else happened in the mountains during their escape (an everyday occurence in the FDQ universe lmao) that led to Orikawa dying, and the manga was actually drawn by Cupi in an attempt to tell their story.
