THIS CHAPTER IS A PURE BLISS...!!!!! i'm really speechless.
my mind went blank and all i could remember was getting slapped for grinning like a pervert by my colleagues, well it's not like i can blame her about it...since i would probably do the same if i'm in her position.
well, partly because i got too excited and rushed to let you guys read this asap...

anyway enjoy the read and if there's any mistakes or weird phrasing that make it hard to understand feel free to let me know...i'll fix it when i have the time, i rushed after all, so there must be typos or some shit i'm wrong about.

I laughed so hard on this chapter. There was drama scattered in but its nice to get such a funny chapter once in a while, especially with all the serious moments recently.

I'm crying from Han Yoils outfit, and the producers reaction, he threw down the challenge to Yoil after all.

And what bad timing from Iruha, she doesn't like Yoil that much we know, but does see her as a rival.

What a extremely pleasant chapter! it took so fucking long to build up but the whole all-arond stellar performance yoil gave is more than enough in gaining a spot in the debut group. (plus time constraints and backroom execs dealings will surely help that, Iruha did promise she'd come back on MC's ascendance to idolhood and what'cha look at who appeared the minute the eval is done?)

The whole arc on MC finding herself, reconciling her femininity and past self along with her dreams of becoming an idol paid off very well in the solo performance! It even took Guducer extremely off balance with his judgement of Yoil, he was totally expecting Yoil to falter at least a teensy bit and give a spiel on how at least it's good for you to showcase both your strengths and weaknessses blah-blah-blah but he didn't find a single flaw in her performance to critique lol. She played the 'white swan' perfectly, and is assured in her sense of self and how she presents herself much to the contrary of his expectations. Go Yoil! The outfit lowkey kinda sucks though, her innate beauty and charm carries it but she has zero sense of fashion!

Guducer seems to be a generally good guy though, I'm not sure if she says that pep talk to all faltering (but promising) girls or if she genuinely likes cool-faced confident women a-la Iruha (that 1st monthly eval Yoil and Suryeon is a strain of) but he has enough of their interest in mind to invigorate them one-to-one and that is in itself is enough.

We're totally going to see more of Suryeon, with her mayyyybe debuting with Yoil as well. She's surprisingly similar to the MC, sharing the same verocity in her achieving her dreams as him, lacking (though not entirely) on the looks department same as him (pre-transformation). She was never portrayed in a completely antagonistic light even at the worst of times, and now she is on track to a full on developed character that will hopefully find common ground with Yoil.

I was hoping to see Izumi and Yoil square up with each other instead of awkwardly shuffling their semi falling off, and looks like we were just about to get it... that is, until Iruha messaged Yoil. completely ruining any quick resolution to it lol. I'm sure they'll make up next chapter once she explains everything.

Also, this is the first time we've seen Iruha in over 10-15 fucking chapters. Iruha-bros, we are sooooooooooooo fucking back. I cannot describe how back we are. Hopefully we will see far more of her in upcoming chapters now that MC's idolhood is all but assured (the same cannot be said for those who will accompany her)

I think Suryeon debuts with Yoil here. All the other character arcs in this trainee group can be resolved without any of them debuting, but not Suryeon's. It would be strange otherwise. But this author is very good at writing things out in unexpected ways, so who knows.

Speaking of the writing (and the writing as told via the art), one clear place where it excels is how no one in this story fits into a specific trope or archetype. And that goes not just for the trainees, but even the trainers and workers who barely appear. That assistant with glasses had a number of things to say about the way the producer handled Suryeon with just one panel showing her expression.
