Sierra is clearly worried Masamune might one day turn against her own king. Alas, giving him, a person from a modern world, lectures about how a king is untouchable is a wasted effort. He didn't kill royals ruling with a divine mandate, he just removed nasty tyrants.

This is also one of the things bugging me when they wiped out that castle.
I am not saying that they don't deserve it, but what is going to happen afterwards.

Unless someone capable and has a good standing takes up the mantle to handle the mess, that whole country is going to fall apart.
The best choice now if you are a citizen would be to move to another country before those countries take advantage of the chaos and started invading.

I feel that Sierra is far too naive for the position she holds. Yes its very significant to kill a king and destroy a country, but to go so far as to ask whether or not they deserved it, knowing what was done to achieve the hero summoning is far too much. Its like she's making white knighting into its modern meaning... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

As ever, thanks for TL. 🙏:D

I get both sides. Sierra and Masamune have their valid points. Everyone must choose their own path.

Thanks for the upload.
i feel like Sierra 's specific worry was whether masamune was becoming someone who'd just act on impulse. her only big question was "did you take time to think before your actions?", which imo, protag really could've just said yes cause he has been in fact somewhat considering the ramifications of what he was going to do (tho as pointed out, they stepped in once when they wanted to interrogate one of the enemies, brfore he'd just go straight for the kill). even the other girls do bring it up slightly. honestly it'd be nice if we actually see the characters do the exact thing mentioned here and take time to think about the whole situation to understand where each other's thought processes are.

there probably a duke or margrave that has lineage linked to the ruling king.

but since majority of the national defense (royal guards, knights, soldiers, mages etc) were killed by the dragon's heart, i assume that country is doomed anyway as it's neighbours will stake a claim on the provinces bordering their own or the super powerful empire just engulf the entirety of the former country into their own as an annexed province/state.

and there might be nobles with their own lands and army choose to go independence or formed a new country outright made of coalition of surviving nobles to fill in the vacuum in the capital in last ditch attempt to ensure they remain in power while denouncing the king and princess as dragon's heart would have made proclamation that the monarch has committed numerous crimes.

just hope that the manga has some sort of political layer as Nito/masamune undoubtedly become an unwilling chess piece on the board of game between nations and gods.

The MC has the Goddess that cries for him, so I'd say that it can be interpreted as that he himself has some kind of Divine mandate :dogkek:

So another version of that chapter? Great, now the angry, edgy kids with the school shooter vibes can have another round of gassing each other up in the comments. :dogkek:
Seriously, when he described why he killed them all I could think was how whiny he sounded. Like boo hoo they bullied you, thats no excuse to murder an entire castle full of people... but edgelord children are going to eat it up.
