Thats what im guessing. The staring and the "finally" makes me think she's been seeing everyone as stones too.

Now that he's defended her and proved he's not like the rest she can perceive him properly. It'll be funny if it turns out she's got her own version of Jason, some femme fatale type of imaginery friend to match Jason being hyper masculine.

Yep. It’s confirmed. She now acts just like the main character at the beginning when he started seeing only her not as a stone. He even wonders what kind of trauma she has lol but has not figured out that her perception of people is warped too.

The music girl seems interesting and in my opinion there can’t be too many love interests provided each is decent. The teacher is best girl I would say but sadly sensei-chans mostly lose like childhood friends.
