I was kinda confused cause it still said Class 1-3 but I guess she's in high school now and those were middle schoolers that talked to her.

The timeskip is just a couple months to mid-Winter, class 1-3 is still their current middle school class. The girls she meets on the way are all wearing the middle school uniform, do not call Komichi senpai and the high school is in an entirely separate building, not to mention Komichi herself would not still be wearing the same exact middle school fall/winter uniform her mom made.

Chapter 2: Classroom 1-3
Chapter 89: Classroom 1-3

The timeskip it's just for the festival. Considering that we are at the end of the school year, Erika is (most likely) with her dad getting permission to stay in Roubai.

Yeah, like I said before, Hiro likes to go back and forth with time and events, so this tracks...

I was also super confused until reading the comments, but I'm sure it will be filled in. As usual, reading one chapter at a time can be difficult.

Good to know Akebi has mastered the Sakaki-san technique.

Very curious if I interpreted this story the same way as the author intends. Does he have any english-translated intervews or a native reader talking about it?

Not sure, I haven't looked, but Hiro is pretty clear with what he's intending. What you see is p. much what you get. He IS one of the manga gods, after all.
