The manga did establish right in the beginning that she treats this like a job mostly and is back with her kids immediately after.
They did however say how she was late even just as a porter and now she goes on whole adventures even if she doesn‘t have to so I don‘t think she sees them a whole lot.
I think showing some family time would be a great way to get rid of this mother in name only feeling.

At this point, to us, she is closer to her party than anyone in her family. The whole bit was that she is the prime mother but how believeable is that if she only mothers other adults?
