The little sister hates him so they don't talk like that, like at all. Him going to her room was a big deal. She mad enough about it to get their parents to ditch him to go eat out without him.

I just checked the raws and you're correct, her name (and the imouto too) is taitou (太桃) which can also be read as futomomo (but only mc does that).

And just like in previous chapters, the raw has furigana on the kanji with the reading. Which means the "translators" don't actually know any Japanese.

When the raw says 太桃, it should be her actual name, Taitou. When it says 太もも, it should be her nickname, Futomomo.

The pool stuff is a real issue thats been happening all over Japan btw. Shrinking budgets have brought school districts to abandon their pools and the amount of Japanese kids who can't swim has been on the rise, also because the average Japanese person does not swim in the sea at the beach or enjoy the beach at all. The Otokonokuji guy also sort of mirrors what the Emperor Go-Yozei said 400 years ago: that all school children should swim.
