Every word of this. Especially the last sentence.Bookstore manager's outfit has an identity crisis. I get the vibe of an unconfident nerdy woman trying to dress like an outgoing gal, but misunderstanding the rules. At any rate, her look is pretty out there for a store manager who isn't working on a beach or a themed bar/café.
But that's not really important. What's important is, thighs! thighs thighs thighs thighs belly fat thighs.
Even if this wasn't like THE most cliche romantic comedy manga twist ever, she's a very friendly girl. I can't imagine her going straight from "let's walk home togetherWe’ve all been through plenty of romcoms by this point so I refuse to believe that she just ignored their meet up. Something definitely happened, hope she’s alright
He literally called her Thighs-san in this chapter.Good point, but I don't know if it'll mean much to you. Kuonji hasn't called her "Ms. Thighs" since chapter 3. So it's not like he's still actively reducing her to a body part. Which feels pretty intentional on the author's part since they've gotten closer.
RIP, OG Thighs-san.Unfortunately Futomomo-san got caught in a melon-crushing scandal, so they recast the role with this new bookstore manager character. She is the new Futomomo-san. The original won’t be seen again
