Shinobu resumes his work, keeps his interactions with Fumi professional, while she tries to get him to speak or to do something. He doesn't and Fumi is sad so another fuccboi takes her.
Shinobu doesn't care. He keeps working and has nightmares with Sakura and fuccboi. Wakes up with a stiffy and hates himself for it. In downtimes, he sees Sakura being taken by fuccboi and he feels weird about it, so works even more. He can't get it up unless he thinks of Sakura and fuccboi.

This was a pretty fun read, seems like a pretty real ending we could get with some slight differences like Sakura falling in love completely with fuckboi or something since he's still maintaining a "genuine" character atp in front of her. Like the open ending as well! Fumi really gets the short end of the stick here rip.

I saw it but given that the picture is one of the Karami Zakari secondary MCs, I think its likely an anime adaptation which is probably pretty hype for some fans of this series cause its been a while since it ended, or not if we're counting the regular manga version.

I think one thing I've changed my mind about is whether the fuckboi's feelings for Sakura are genuine or sincere. I don't think the author wants that character to indirectly commit rape; I think she just vaguely implied that Sakura did give consent, I think the author sees Sakura kissing the fuckboy back as her way of giving consent, which is actually pretty simple or vague, to be honest

With the impact of that last panel I think Shinobu needs to respond in an equally impactful manner to clapback and shake up the fuckboi (like punching himself in anger at what he let happen, biting his tongue until it bleeds) to afford himself some ground in this conversation to be taken seriously, and then from there just lay out the truth onto the fuckboi as such that he can't just brush it aside as convenient lies.

Yeah, I still think he's a scumbag, but as far as his relationship with Sakura goes, I think he's sincere and genuine, so that's why I don't think the author intends for him to indirectly commit rape

If it is ending I will have no hopes for a fumi arch let alone Sakura and shinobu getting back together so I guess diphuc1 will own me some money on that.
