Its just picking at the details, no difference really in the end. Since it is Kastura Airi, this author likes to touch on concepts like "sex without love", "love without sex", and combined "sex with love". So far to me we've been bombarded with the passionate sex between fuckboi and Sakura to hammer it, but not necessarily the more romantic parts of it which could be going on screen, especially since there's a time skip now, but I'd still like to dig at it till I'm sooner or later disproven.

I know some of you want Sakura back but the story has already move on with a time skip of MONTHS and a page showing Sakura still fucking fuckboi regularly (it's not Shinobu imagining things btw, you can see by the way it is drawn).
The only thing here is knowing if Sakura has already been dropped from this manga or not, maybe she's a secondary character and we get to see gratuitous sex scenes with her. NTR ROMCOM, NTR (Sakura and fuckboi), RONCOM (Shinobu and Fumi).

It's quite possible for Shinobu x Fumi to work immediately. He knows she has been with him long enough to know things about him, and that it is also possible she can rewrite Sakura. But it can only work if she does things differently or better than Sakura, or she brings something new to Shinobu's life. She could bring him a different feeling of love and happiness, which separates the 2 entirely.

Although I still don't think Shinobu would accept Fumi immediately initially, but with the time-skip, it's pretty much possible now.

As for the new sex scene, for me it felt like Shinobu's imagination, no other way around it. It doesn't make sense for it to be them at the time as the scene jumps around too much. And yeah the speech bubbles are sort of big indications. He is after all still hung up about what fuccboi said, and him still thinking about it sort of shows he still have feelings for her or still think about the situation. But that's just my view.

The sex scenes that were shown throughout while the conversation with fuckboi was still going are Shinobu's imagination 100%. the uncertainty remaining is are the 3 panels of the same scene post time skip the reality.

See it's ambiguously drawn if it's on purpose what is it thing to say? But we could all just be overthinking it sakura is a nympho who needs sex so it's likely real just poorly drawn.

Folks here believe that the 3 panel page is Shinobu's fear but that page is just for contrast and comparison, in one side you have Shinobu getting all sad in her room, while Sakura is getting railed. Anyway we still don't know anything about Sakura's agency and life as gradol/actress, Shinobu's getting ahead by thinking is going well for her but may as well the next ten chapters be us discovering that without Shinobu she has been getting assaulted constantly lol.
