Somehow this manga has a depressing undertone
Brother, where have you been?Somehow this manga has a depressing undertone
I forget if it's been addressed, but that spirit he's always talking to, is it the same spirit, or does he just start talking to a new one every now and then?
This is my own preference, but I would kind of like it if the spirit he talks to is that female elf friend he had before leaving the forest. She was only mentioned once, but it would still be nice for him to have that bond and companionship.
Your mom is very wise. One of the phrases I've taken from my mom is "I put it in a safe place, and that means it's safe from me."
What I recall is that they didn't really confirm it, but it's somewhat connected to the uncle. That spirit might even be one of the elders that he was fighting with.I forget if it's been addressed, but that spirit he's always talking to, is it the same spirit, or does he just start talking to a new one every now and then?

The closest I recall it being addressed would be when he was explaining a bit about the spirits to the count and mentioned that the spirit he was talking to at that time was rather young. Makes me feel like he just talks to the spirits in the area, but seeing how subjective time is to them young could be several decades. Plus his usual spirit companion could have been elsewhere at that moment.I forget if it's been addressed, but that spirit he's always talking to, is it the same spirit, or does he just start talking to a new one every now and then?

You're correct. Spirits have very little sense of self because "individuality" hinders their ability to wield power of nature. They usually just linger around their favorite environment (hence they're called "spirit of water" or "spirit of fire" etc. without personal names), so Acer was just talking with new spirits of any location he went to.I don't think it's ever addressed. Aesir has only ever referred to them as a group.
It wouldn't surprise me if they don't even have a concept of "self", considering how they're everywhere.
that would risk bumping the current church's corrupt assassins with the racist church's just plain crazy folk. I think that would cause more issues than benefits.hey bum, go visit your actual adopted son holy
Well, he's a high elf. Time is different for him. I mean, if 1 dog years = 7 human years and you made your dog wait outside the store for 10 minutes, while you go buy some beer, then that would have felt like over an hour wait for the dog. But nobody really consider about things like that.Small side quest -> turns into an entire year
Aesir is it any wonder your friends keep dying of old age???
