Yep. The natural outcome if you dare attack Boss/Chief/“Mama” in front of the Flocklings. Even if Reisu didn’t get hurt.

The danger of evolving in a harsh environment led to quite the stock of bullshit strength. These little murder chickens are the results of evolution prioritizing survival and strength over wrinkles on the brain.

Matilda realizing she was one step away from having her town wiped out in retaliation is as good as it was in the LN.

Also, she can stop them by going full Chieftain mode to snap them out of it. She has to do it later to prevent them getting hurt by an actual threat that managed to strike a serious wound to her- which meant it could kill her precious flocklings. Unfortunately, I don’t think a normal human soldier would survive, with their dignity in tact, the amount of Aura needed to snap them out of Blood Frenzy.

Kinda hoping to find out that the dragon she took an eye in retribution is the dragon boss or something.

Not quite. She held it off and survived the battle with the Ancient Lightning Dragon, even took one of its eyes. It’s a “win” if you count survival of her and some of her Flock, I guess.

1v1 is kinda doing a heavy lifting here considering that her attack deal zero damage to the dragon scale while she is clearly hurt by the lightning breath. Sure, she took one of its eye, but the match up is like a human vs a house cat.

It would have to be full Attrition. These little murder chickens are vulnerable when they wind down from a fight, so you’d have to enrage them with an entire army, then send another one to try to kill them. But Reisu does NOT have that muscle strain post-fight weakness, so you’d still have to kill her before she’d even dare let you harm them.

Needless to say, the best way to kill them might actually be just straight up Bio Weapons to Nuclear if you can’t just starve them to death. But then they could still just go hunt Land Dragons for food, even with your army in the way.

These little guys are from the post endgame super secret max level bonus area versus a regular army of mob soldiers.
MC and Knight lady were the only friendlies who really understood the terror they were witnessing. Gotta wonder just how strong the MC is compared to everything else in the world, just shrugging off a volley of magic like that.

I mean didn't they say that the only lands not settled are those south into the region them came from? And we know that the dragons are among the strongest threats humans know of. So I would think she is stronger than pretty much everyone in the settled areas. They did show the map that the land is Africa, but if you look at how little they settled, they only settled at most like 1/8th of the map, just the north most edge. So bigger threats are probably further south.

Nah not at all. They have made it very clear, they have a mentality switch. They are just in kill mode. They are not upset about killing enemies, they only care about allies, and none got hurt here.

They do seem rather easily misled. I'd look into illusion magic or the like if it existed in the setting. Have a fake murder chicken attack one of the real ones and then hope it just spirals into them self destructing as a group.
