Oh yeah, I was also very thrown off by the queen's design. Manga characters have these huge wide heads and tiny bodies and she comes in with the completely opposite design.

It seems Patience is getting a lot of benefits from being closer to the royal family, so that's good.

Still waiting on the reveal of why Viscount Granger was dismissed from Civil Service or fell out of favor.

Thanks for the chapter!

I've read that far in the WN - -/
Some noble supremacists wanted to make the academy exclusive to higher ranking nobles only.

Dad went up against them and won, but the salty bastards went and exerted pressure on the king who in the end had to pacify them by firing dad.
The looming threat of the grudging bastards is also why people couldn't openly help the Grangers despite feeling grateful for dad's effort.

Instant whisking is such a ludicrously complex physical phenomena to simulate with magic. Even the machines just manage it by combining a whisk with circular rotations, but instantly skipping to the outcome like this is more like directly connecting the molecule chains.

The things you can do with that rival modern factory lines. If she can do that to plastic.....carbon fiber....

That kind of technique improvements imagine what she could do for pastry.
The line to the palace is proving very useful to her.

It's nice to see people who do a project because they liked the series and care about it in this age of paywalled unedited garbage mtl done by people who just do it for the money that neither liked nor care about the series itself.

My adventure out of mdx is miserable.

Everyday magic is really something else here, at least for someone like Patience who apparently has abnormal talent with it. She just makes complex phenomenon happen effortlessly.

I was reading it from the beginning again, and I started wondering if her "get well" spell that she uses to dispel the princess' low blood pressure could be used for more grievous wounds; perhaps she could mend a broken bone or even restore a lost body part (when you consider what she can do with objects).

Nothing as far as where I'm and Patience's usually busy prioritizing the present over digging up the past.

That said the latest development on that front is the queen telling Patience that good things is coming for dad sometimes in the next few months.
So at least there's changes going on where Patience doesn't know.

I am going to choose to interpret that as
The supremecist nobles are involved in highly illegal, possibly traitorous, activities and the crown is getting ready to crush them.
