Got plenty of yap out. Half the chapter was ShiFumi love love time, the other half was split down the middle'ish between movie script plot progression and Sakura's not too productive meeting (but some subtle effects that aren't too noteworthy atm). Not much more to dissect unless we're gonna keep speculating back and forth the fucboi X Sakura status which will go nowhere till 134 drops (if even). People are feeling content that this is the ending right around the corner, but to me the ending as it is now still feels soo unsatisfying even with Shinobu getting a bit of a win this time.

This really was the definition of a "mid ahh chapter". ShiFumi is the good part of it, Sakura the bad part of it even though she's shown a slightly different demeanor from the last chapter and is actually thinking about Shinobu. Then of course on the final panel you have the bait being dangled to try to get readers riled up or curious for the next chapter. At least script is mostly completed, but hard to say what's comes next: Shinobu puts the finishing touches on his script? sure. Sakura takes the offer? maybe. Does fucboi make a relevant return? Please no, but I don't see him being cut out just because of the hate, and if we move onto casting for the movie he could be the no brainer choice to get the drama rolling.

For the Sakura side of things, I do think she'll accept the offer but it won't go as straightforward as people think it will, heck it might even somehow put her in front of Shinobu somehow by the power of plot convenience but this is just coping from my part. Shinobu is the big bad director now so a new interaction between him and fucboi would be interesting maybe but man is it a double edged knife to have fucboi back in the picture after a blissful half month of zero sightings.

It hard to say what we should take away from those few panels, but just her thinking about those times with Shinobu and it being "fun" at a bare minimum is probably enough to qualify it as a slight positive, other than that its back to the 134 waiting room per usual.

It's just so weird that to me this almost feels like a hot take even though I very much would want to believe this. I understand the incredible levels of global+ JP hate, but the amount of things fucboi had going for him feels like he's due for a return at some point and he could still play out a role in the movie. While I do hate seeing him back the thing I absolutely would loathe is the confirmation of him and Sakura being an item.

Toppy got his memory wiped back to before the Island arc. He doesn't remember any of it.

There's no way the script Sakura was given is the same one Shinobu made when his boss wants him to add the stripping scene.
