Given the theory that Iruma s old boss (the manga author) is Ameri’s mom, there’s a very strong chance he‘ll end up getting deported to earth and we’ll have a cross dimensional jail break
I’d honestly like a human world jail break but what makes me concerned is that Alikred was feeling drained and wonky in the flower field when they saw the human world portal so if he can’t exist in the human world would we get either confirmation that he can live in the human world because delkira/alikred is part human like people have speculated or will he hibernate in his ring.
OK that woman is either blinded by love or mind controlled!
100% blinded by love that was the whole plan at the deviculum

Weirdos like you are the whole ass reason grifters get any attention at all. Naive, arrogant character does something naive and arrogant and your whole response is "you all just hate women." If Shura was a prince you wouldn't be saying that they're just naive and innocent. Get a fucking grip
look I already know you hate women you don't need to waste time proving it further.

I'm gonna have to go back and reread a bunch, because I'm pretty sure Baal was introduced as having ways to twist people's minds and emotions beyond him just having a glib tongue, something that everyone else seems to have forgotten.

I have read manga for years and I legit am getting butterflies when I see a chapter has been released these days. It’s a rare occasion in fiction when I have no idea where it’s headed or how it’s going to get there.

Nishi is fucking cooking.
Dude, same. I actually stopped reading this for quite a long time because I thought it was getting stale, and I only just recently got caught up. This current arc though is so good that I drop everything to read new chapters

That's what I expect of Clara, but Azz-kun face was different from what I thought. I expect him to be absolutely fuming or have an empty eye where he's about to do something dangerous, but he looks more distress than Clara right now, in a state of emotional spiral where he can't muster up a single thought.

Baal, you want to be the Demon King? Sure, let's give you a proper welcome:

Honestly, I like this arc. Pride is such a lovely vice and seeing a villain nearly get everything they desired only to be stopped is delightful. As is their fear of losing because they know the heroes won't stand down. The Dresden Files comes to mind with a great villain who will fall because of his pride. He had nearly won. He just needed to sit back and see the process through, but Harry reminded him that Heaven wouldn't stop fighting. They would use every power they could within the rules, the three Paladins might be killed but others would stand to take their place. Harry got the villain so scared he agreed to a trade with Harry. And that trade lead to his downfall.

Now, some have theorized that Clara's father is a deity, but I would rather not have that be the sole resolving point. Shura mentions others in the deities, so hopefully a parental figure could come into play or higher rank and stops her. I want the demons who have come to love Iruma working in concert to save him, giving the newbies a chance to fly and possibly fail, only to see the elders step up and go further. The Misfits should play a role, but I don't know if they could win on their own. Like Mephisto watching them take on the krakken and beat it, only to then handle the rest.

I never really understood why did Sullivan decide to make a human his grandson. He definitely made a lot of moves to push Iruma to become a demon king, but I feel like his motivation for this right now is a bit of a mystery still. We know he misses Delkira a whole lot, so this whole time I viewed this through the lens of Iruma being human somehow being useful for bringing Delkira back. I now realise there might be more to it.
As we are shown in this chapter, all demons, without exception, are subjects to the whims of the Deities. Even the Demon King, despite being a position that allows one to essentially freely reshape the demon society, is someone who can be appointed by a deity without the Three Greats having much say on the matter. It seems like even someone as powerful and crafty as Delkira would have to keep the opinions of the Deities in mind. However, while that is the case when it comes to demons, so far nothing suggests that humans and deities have any connection or relationship.
My theory is that Sullivan's efforts to make Iruma - a human - into a demon king are a lot more politically motivated than we initially thought. This chapter is an example of a deity, which are treated as inherently superior, unilaterally imposing her will on the most powerful in the demon society. If Iruma is not restricted by the same dynamics that apply to demons and deities, him being the Demon King could be a way to upend that order and give the demons more independence from the deities. I also like how this scenario would serve as a neat narrative parallel to Iruma's time with the Many Ears village during his Scala Exam.
