Nah, the reunion will happen in these 2 ch for sure. But them reconciling or just being each others support could happen after a big time skip in an epilogue. Stuff like that is normal, i'd say it more rare to not have some sort of epilogue in the last volume of a manga.
I don't think so because i can't see that manga receving a extra chapter after everything happened.I think will have a epilogue on the last chapter.

For me the ending still going to be FumixShinobu and Sakura and Shinobu becaming friends and coworkers after their conversation. But a door for their reconciliation is not closed.(it would feel pretty forced tbh)

I think so too...

It's also a possibility they meet right away, as he is alone outside and she is with Mio in a car. Wouldn't be surprised if they bump into each other and Mio forces a reunion.
I think it's pretty unlikely that they'll run into each other.

If you look closely at the final page, Mio has already driven onto the highway, while Shinobu is still walking along the sidewalk below. For Sakura and Mio to notice Shinobu from a highway while driving at high speed, they'd practically need superhuman senses.

Their meeting probably going to be accidental or a plot convinient moment for that happen.

I think if we have a epilogue chapter it will be a big timeskip after the story happened and how their careers progressed.

I think is going to be accidental. This circunstance you told is literally one of the most impossimble things to happen.
Yep, plot convenince would go crazy requiring Shinobu to be a part of Sakura's "values" and her desire to prove her values not being wrong in the present being twisted into her somehow wanting to confront Shinobu to maybe get some things she still had to say off her chest because they've never confronted one another all these months.

Nakanishi is not just Sakura’s new boyfriend or Shinobu’s romantic rival. He is a possessive, self-righteous man who mistakes control for love.

To be fair, he was not evil from the beginning. Before Sakura suspected Shinobu of cheating, Nakanishi genuinely helped her. He prayed for a protective charm and even helped recover the necklace Shinobu had given her. His kindness was probably real.

But everything changed once he slept with her.

The very next day, he went straight to Shinobu, announced that he and Sakura had already had sex, told him to back off, and claimed that he would make Sakura happy.

Why did Shinobu need to hear the sexual details?

Because Nakanishi was not simply explaining the situation. He was declaring victory:

“I slept with her. She is mine now. You lost.”
He turned Sakura’s body into proof of ownership and used their private relationship as a weapon to crush Shinobu.

The manga never confirms whether Sakura knew about this meeting. However, judging from Nakanishi’s later behavior, it is entirely possible that he acted without her permission.

He has a habit of deciding what is best for Sakura without asking her.

When Sakura wants to accept a television role involving a bed scene, he does not ask whether she wants it or whether it could help her career. He simply calls gravure work vulgar and tells her not to do it.

That is especially hypocritical because Sakura built her career as a gravure idol. Nakanishi is happy to sleep with her privately, yet he looks down on the profession that made her who she is.

His problem is not sexuality. His problem is control.

He can accept Sakura’s body when it belongs to him in private. He cannot accept Sakura deciding for herself how to use her body and pursue her career.

This also raises the possibility that he secretly destroyed Sakura and Shinobu’s final chance to communicate.

Sakura believed Shinobu had cheated, but never properly confronted him. After sleeping with Nakanishi, she may not have known that Nakanishi immediately went to Shinobu and ordered him to withdraw.

Shinobu may have interpreted Nakanishi’s words as proof that Sakura had chosen him. So he stepped away.

Sakura then saw that Shinobu never came after her and may have concluded:

“He never cared enough to find me.”
This creates a vicious cycle:

Sakura misunderstands Shinobu and runs away.
Nakanishi sleeps with her and immediately drives Shinobu away.
Shinobu assumes Sakura has chosen Nakanishi.
Sakura sees Shinobu’s silence and believes he abandoned her.
Nakanishi becomes the only man left beside her.

If that is what happened, Nakanishi did not merely “win” Sakura. He made sure Shinobu never had the chance to speak to her again.

Of course, Sakura is still responsible for her choices. She never confirmed the truth, slept with Nakanishi before properly ending things with Shinobu, and continued the relationship afterward.

But Nakanishi clearly exploited the situation.

His promise to “make Sakura happy” was never as noble as he wanted it to sound. He did not ask Sakura what happiness meant to her. He simply assumed that sleeping with her gave him the right to define her future.

That is why Sakura calling him selfish in the latest chapter matters.

Nakanishi did not suddenly become selfish. He was always selfish. His selfishness was simply hidden behind kindness, protection, and romantic promises.

He can love the Sakura who depends on him.

He cannot accept the Sakura who thinks and chooses for herself.

He was a jerk since the introduction a nice person doesn't hit in other guy's woman and badmouths her boyfriend.

And he literally took advantage of her own insecurities and her heartbreak to pursue her(the cheating act is on Sakura's fault). So that chapter really proved that he isn't going to fulfill his promise to make her happy and that he diesn't understand how she feels and reduced her journey as a gravature model that made her career possible.

Same here. It all points to them maybe just talking and going each their own way but with a clear mind this time... Like he said "it was necessary for them to break up".

If we had like 5-6 more ch i could see some room for her redemption, but forcing it now with so little room left, i just don't see it.
I think if the don't get back together(less probable scenario) they will be friends and coworkers.

Thanks, guess it's a TL thing since the EN one doesn't openly use the word "selfish" anywhere in this page.
Yeah, I should clarify that “selfish” was my interpretation. I inferred it from the way Sakura points out Nakanishi’s contradiction and double standard.

In this next chapter they will accidentally spot each other on the same night, Sakura tries to run again and Shinobu will chase after her round 2. Sakura in her panic doesn't notice an incoming car, Shinobu shoves her out of the way at the last minute and takes the hit for her, and he finally gets his chance to tell her the truth in the hospital. Fumi will drop by the next day after getting the news and she'll see Sakura at Shinobu's bedside and realize that she'll never be able to truly replace Sakura in Shinobu's heart, and so she happily awaits her extra what-if chapter.

It absolutely fits and the idea was properly conveyed, twas just a nitpick on my part. I hope they're never seen together again after this.
