Everyone, trust the Author. You guys saw how the president was “right” she deserves happiness, if my gut feeling is right. The president is giving Menka first floor seats to Menka so she can witness Ichiro’s job and see how he is happy with all the girls in his job.

They better not give Menka a redemption arc. It will crash the premise of the story. Manga writers need to understand that if you introduce NTR to a character, prepare for that character to be hated by the audience.

She needs a EXTREMELY good reason to explain why she cheated. Which she likely has none.

In before she cries that she was drunk.

What the fuck president even trying to achieve with this sociopath exactly? I have zero expectation from writing but it will probably still manage to be disappointing anyway. It is a manga after all.

Menka already told Ichiro why she cheated on him: because he couldn't perform or satisfy her. It's worth remembering that she destroyed his self-esteem the first time they had sex, which caused him to develop erectile dysfunction. Also, when she explained her reasoning, she showed neither guilt nor remorse. So changing her explanation now and giving a different reason would be absurd, to say the least.

Actually SHE LIED so he would believe that "despite being small and bad at performing" she still stays with him.
BUT I think she took it too far and didn't expect MC to file for divorce and she didn't took it so seriously because she genuinely believed she traumatized him enough he eventually would want to go back with her, thanks the Gods Ichiro didn't.

You mean she lied about what?

About him being small and bad on sex.
That still doesn't change the facts: Menka gave him ED by destroying his self-esteem the first time they had sex. And then, after she had already broken him, she told him she cheated because he couldn't perform. The cause came first. The excuse came second.

Anyway, whether she lied about his performance that first time or not is completely irrelevant at this point. She still cheated. She still used his ED, which she caused, as her justification. And most importantly, when she told him her reasoning, she showed neither guilt nor remorse. No hesitation. No tears. No apology. Just cold indifference dressed up as an explanation.

So even if she lied about his size or skill back then, it doesn't change anything. It doesn't excuse the cheating. It doesn't erase the trauma. And it certainly doesn't make her sympathetic. If anything, it just makes her an even bigger manipulator for deliberately creating his insecurities in the first place.

Eh... The author's not seriously going to give Menka a redemption arc... right? This is just the President's plan to make her answer for what she's done... right?

Thanks for the chapter!
She wants Menka suffer to watch Wakou doing 3-some and she cant do anything about it

Just caught up. I didn't read the series seriously first, but it's been quite the ride.

I really don't get why people are fearing a "redemption" arc. The worst that can happen is Ichirou wishing for her happiness more seriously and moving on. But her sincerely apologising and justifying her actions seems improbable. It is very clear from what little we know that she is supremely manipulative and evil, and has never really been a proper wife at any time. She likely chose the most malleable and easy mark as her husband. She destroyed his sexual confidence to make him easy to manipulate. So if there is going to be a "redemption", it will need to be quite detailed and long.

Anyway, I don't know what the President is thinking, but at least I trust th author to not be stupid. Given the depth of the trauma MC has, this will probably be a good opportunity to deal more firmly with her trauma. We alsoa ctually know very little about what their married days were like. So I am not that worried

edit: Wait, there was a mantion of Menka doing "sugar daddy" type things. It's possible that's the "secret mission" that's being talked about. So the MC will assist in whoring out his ex-wife. Damn
