Honestly, at this point it will be easier to just killing the nun and maybe some of the others. They’re all crazy so surely you could have them battle each other out over your affection.

Besides going against the premise of the story, I can think of a few reasons why she won't do this.

• killing someone so high profile will give her a reputation of a tyrant, which will eventually result in a trip to the guillotine.
• she has tried killing all of her detractors in a previous timeline, perhaps one of the ones from chapter one, and it didn't work.
• according to the witch, her fate is entangled with the karma of several women and the only way to save herself is to fix her relationship with them (i.e win their hearts). All other actions lead to her death.
