death is a mercy for that guy, he already lose an arm, ear and then got PTSD ~
its perfect punishment for him so he gonna live the rest of his life like that.
He didn't lose just 1 ear, he lost BOTH, meaning along with the missing arm he's 100% super handicap, death would've been a blessing for him, UNLESS its possible to regrow it all thx to healing magic but like you said healing wouldn't work on PTSD kek

Figuring out the reports were not lies requires logic they don't seem to possess.

Dude......he fucking SEVERED the man's arm and left ear! he ain't recovering from that and will be MISERABLE on just HOW fubar his "plan" went for him (Especially if he gets in REAL TROUBLE for not "killing MC and allowing that massacre to happen" I laugh saying "allowed" but we're dealing with scumbags, the others WILL throw him under the bus to save themselves since they HAVE to keep the lie up that he is a criminal, which he kind of is now. And the scene last chapter when he slept shows the Grunts KNOW what their superiors are doing and hiding behind "just following orders" fallacy! So MC really isn't in any obligation to hold back on them! Though as said, they could flee! Or just not get in his way and pretend they never found him! But well that's on them!
