If Sakura's image starts deviating too much she might run into issues at her agency that contradict their planned image for her. Guess this is where Mio's agency is the fallback but there are some consequences, then we'll have to see what becomes of fucboi as well.

I don't think there's much chance of boosting the sales of Volume 14 if KA still doesn't understand what the actual readers of this series want. At this point, the only thing that could possibly help is for Kodansha to kick both KA and the useless editor off the project and have a trustworthy writer take over and write the final chapter instead.

I'd say it's because there's no plan for Fumi's scene; Shinobu's original plan will probably be scrapped entirely and they'll have to improvise something new.

It could end up being even worse than Volume 13's sales, which are already terrible by current standards. As of now, Volume 13 is ranked 41th among all manga in daily sales. That's still pretty low. And there's still a good chance that its ranking will continue to drop.
