So floor 9 is just a uselessly wide floor of nothing? Then again, wouldn't it be a good spot to build a dungeon pitstop?
Sure it ain't safe, but with proper drops, it could be a decent spot for male adventurers too to earn money via monster drops.
It mentions in this chapter that materials brought into the dungeon from outside get absorbed after being left motionless for too long which precludes the construction of stationary structures. You might be able to avoid this issue by putting structures on top of wagons and moving them a little bit each morning, but if that were the case then separating the hot springs into men's and women's sections using movable dividers should also be possible. I would imagine that the dungeons have some means of detecting and punishing any such attempts to exploit obvious loopholes, otherwise everyone would already be doing it.

The soldiers got a lot prettier after all these conquests, but how much more can they possibly gain from delving even deeper to the really dangerous parts?

The faces in this chapter were peak.
Good for those adventurers on lucking out, I guess. Now they can retire. Or she can.

I feel like the answer to floor 9 is to construct a dungeon town for people to use as a rest stop in dungeon dives. If man-made options fade away, then he can add the bare bones structure of habitable dwellings at regular intervals throughout the floor. People need to bring their own furnishings of various types, which bear the risk of being absorbed for points.

Perhaps some kind of incentive to visit every town too, like a key item or treasure chests that spawn after living there for X days.

I also think some kind of arrangement where people can buy certain objects/services with their own blood or the like would be good if the bait was good enough. Just gotta calculate points-to-sacrifice ratios to turn a profit.

O . o;

I thought the solution would be obvious. If you can't bring it in from the outside, just use existing materials from the dungeon to build with. Loose stones from the upper floors, dirt and sod from the 9th.

Sure it might not be a high class hotel, but it would offer a location from which to base further operations out of.

I was imagining bringing in livestock cattle or horses to pull wagons occasionally. Kinda like food trucks. And maybe there could be wagons that rent out tents/camping stuff to people staying but fine/blacklist them if they don't return the tents or if they allow the dungeon to absorb the camping supplies or something.

Did she kill the other Adventurer to keep all the money to herself? Or did they split up and he just poorly managed his resources and died of dehydration?
They were never together, the two knights talk about it, the man is a solo adventure, I think the only reason they were drawn together was to save on space, in the novel the woman walks past the knights while they are complaining and then immediately comes running back, and they guy is a footnote about how he never returned and is assumed dead, because he walked straight out in the open field.

actually, this may have been a way to spawn&forget monsters, iirc he had a floor with a monster popping automatically and was annoyed about it...
here, monsters can spawn, but the floor is so big (and exit so close) that they won't be an issue...

I don't even remember what the spring on floor 9 does. Was it ever mentioned?
It has not yet been revealed in the manga.

The story is a bit weird. I think if you wanted to show the madness of dungeons it could have been a protagonist experiencing it. He's kind of just making basic floors in random orders and he doesn't really comment on it or explain his plans or anything.
This story is more about designing a dungeon that bait in women to go as deep as possible for reasons of vanity. Each floor is vaguely described in the web novel with the focus being more on the Hot Spring rewards rather than the details of the variuos floors.

The 9th floor will have a purpose in the future due to a synergy the Hot Spring dungeon has with the No Hunger dungeon.
This is pretty much the last time men enter the dungeon.

I think that might be likely since they only went in that day and she came out looking kind of messed up. You don't run out of supplies in one day unless you're really bad at managing your stuff.
The manga seems to have failed to properly express the time spent exploring the floor. The web novel makes it more obvious that their attempt was for a much more extended period than what was shown in the manga.

I wonder if there's any spring or sauna in the 9th floor at all? Since when making it, it seemed as though the MC flat out forgot.
It'd be cool if it comes back to this floor, and there's like an ultimate prize there.

That would require allowing constant entry for men going all the floor full of women who are there for the saunas.
Though they were allowing them for now, so perhaps they'll just continue doing so? :thonk:
peta-chan's soul is linked to the mc's so eventually humans make use of that to allow men to bathe in the dungeon's water

No, because they still didn't find it, but it wil lbe revealed soon.
The spring with a unknown effect shown when making clear how the queen mobilize the army is actually
a info extraction hot spring, if a person visits one time it gives MC some info, more baths pile it up, as he can't get info about the outside world he uses that to understand the outside civilization, it have no other effects from what I understand but as every hot spring the humans discovered have a positive effect they think it could just be something inside the body they can't see.

In the novel nothing of the like was said, he looks to be out of strenght in the middle of the field, I'm gonna guess that the two gone in separate directions and he didn't notice the stairs when the girl did, she run back up the stairs to be the first one reporting them and get the reward.
Is even possible some time had passed and she discovered them when abandoning the search and returning.

The info extract spring you are referring to is the boss floor's spring. The 9th and 10th floor springs are a XP increase and stamina recovery combo to help train explorers so that they can dive to deeper and deeper floors.

KappaBeast is so determined to be first with these manga chapters that they're leaving text untranslated, mistranslated, in wrong bubbles... :haa:

It's more like the author explained it himself

Maybe saving it for later when the kingdom can't afford to control least priority floor
