Not just you. It feels like they're taping a new story over the original one. I've said it before, this series should have ended when Alan stopped being an adventurer and became a Holy King.

If they really wanted to make...whatever this story is now, they could have made a mini-series featuring these two guys while they let the author cook and figure out how to bring Alan back into the story (or do a time-skip and have the son carry on his work).

yep, the series could have ended with Alan going frozen and then being waken up in the future for the big fight.
then whatever happened in the middle could be milked away.

Why are you surprised they have mystical shit happening? Genetically identical humans appearing on hundreds of planets across the universe is too conspicuous to remain unexplained

I like how the "mysterious spirit race" in all these manga settings have big heads, rounded features, and are like a cross of bug and tree.

The body itself isn't similar to the bugs, but the veins or tendrils connecting the arms to the main body are similar to ones we've seen before. I'd guess this is either a third party or an different species that doesn't eat people

i dont like the nonsense religion, it isnt religious at all, its just a super powerful being manipulating the masses, its not interesting, this "goddess" is nothing more than a overevolved version, and in the end itll antagonize mc most likely because creator isnt thinking how to make it good but how to continue it in poor quality, i actually am going to go crazy with the hype for nonsense tropes that honestly need to be forgotten PERMANENTLY, i like the people going around dealing with stuff, i hate the notion that they will ACTUALLY START WORSHIPPING THIS POWERFUL BUT NOT GODLY BEING, IT IS NOTHING BUT A OVEREVOLVED BUG, MAYBE THE ORIGIN, BUT NONTHELESS A OVER(YES OVER, NOT EVOLVED BUT OVEREVOLVED)EVOLVED BUG, I ATE THE FACT THAT THE CURRENT CREATOR HAS NONE OF THE OG CREATOR IDEAS IN MIND, I WISH SOME PEOPLE STOPPED ARBITRARILLY PICKING THINGS UP AND NOT GETTING THE ACTUAL STORY AND MAKE IT TRASH BECAUSE THEY ARE AT BEST ARTISTS HIRED TO MAKE THE NOVEL POPULAR
