The ending is pretty simple, you don't have to think about it that much. It implies they still love each other no matter what, but it was poorly executed to mimic a generic NTR H-doujin cuck ending. Probably for the "comedy" part... And of course it back fired massively!

This and that happened in the time skip, doesn't matter at all! You know they didn't do shit since we already established the fact that her writing is dog shit, and doesn't acknowledge that any real time passed... Amateur work at it finest.

It's simulated. Doing actual sex during these erotica films is illegal.

Lighting, camera angles and skin colored patches are being used to prevent contact of the genitalia. We don't see these used in process but that's how they go about it. Evident when Shinobu was talking about the lighting and all. There's also an intimate acting instructor to monitor and ensure things go well.

So you can rest easy (or as easy as you can) in knowing there's no real penetration. It's just actors acting out sex. Nothing more.

He was renowned because of how good he made it look! But I can see how one can assume. Having actual actors do real sex is a big no no.

It's clear these characters aren't in the AV industry. So Shinobu was just talented in making those scenes look realistic and good.

If Nishikida is the author and Airi the artist that can happen because Nishikida is a vannila romance writter.They tried do a romcom until 102 but after that only became soft porn NTR story.And that last scene probably was Airi's way to describe a romcom moment(failed succesfully)
