I know that this is going to be answer (it always is), but I do question if she is also a spirit how come she hasn't heard of the opposite from other spirits?

The only thing I can think of is that, she has heard of stories and recounts of Univas being good to spirits and is actually the strong one, however she has deluded herself into not believing them because of something Univas did being attributed to the scumbag Hero.
