I don't think any explanation will be believable enough with so many contraceptive options available, other than there being no contraceptives in the world where the story takes place, of course.

I know, but given how the high school setting is abused to no end, not using it here to make them a couple of capacity limited teens and make the scenario more credible is astounding. Why did they make them an adult couple? No one believes this is a problem for adults unless these are from some protestant sect in a god forsaken town in the countryside.

I remember they had to put some sort of carboard beds in hotels during last olympics to stop athletes from fucking all the time, apparently is specially good for women. This manga should have been a oneshot. As in tradition, the title is too specific, and the mangaka wrote themself into a corner: Now they are going to try and retroactively save face after being called out, and fail.
