tbh I don't really know what the author is trying to do at this point, there seemed to progress early on then it reached the status que. Like its fine if you want to drag it out but why constantly push the idea if your not going to do anything with it.
For example could someone pitch me an appeal reason to do it in storytelling it just seems to bog down the story.

They're milking this series because of its popularity, so it's getting the same status-quo treatment as Rent-A-Girlfriend. Apparently it's popular enough that it got an anime adaptation announcement back in July with only 11 tankobon volumes out.

This is a comedy. It does not have an over arching plot or story. It is episodic not serialized storytelling.

Honestly at this point I'm okay with them milking this series since everything is so low stakes. The most that happens is Noa loses her mind and Rihito has to deal with it. It's kind of a gag manga now.

What I want is for the situations to get even crazier and more ludicrous. Go full on Amai Seikatsu, that would be great
