Unfortunately, what we do know of Noa's family paints a much less lighthearted picture. She's an only child with absentee parents. We won't see them for a long time yet simply because this is a sitcom and that shit ain't funny.

This trauma of hers is the root of all her crushing self-esteem issues. It's also why she thinks so highly of Rihito's family: they love Rihito and they show their love. (Reni included, which is why Noa has never and will never give up on trying to impress her.) All she ever dreamed of was to be loved half as much. Or even a fraction of that.

My idea is that she just had the regular kind of absent parents,they like their kid, have to work all the time and so on; the way shes portrayed she likely was able to do anything she wanted, since we get clues like her being rather romantic from an early age, excessive spender, pretty capable on her own, smut reader, rather eccentric, shes the "grass is greener on the other side" kind of person, despite herself being quite well put together

Rihito should develop more of a backbone and bark back that what she's doing is power harassment, as an adult her decorum is unbecoming and she could learn a thing or two from Noa.

That last one would fry her noodle.

I have a genuine question: this manga has been getting one chapter every 3~4 days regularly. Is the mangaka even human?
I honestly am not aware of any other manga that gets released so fast. And the art is not even bad, or the chapters super short.

No. The translator was on break a few months ago. A few months long break so when they did return, the raw was stocked piled. We were like 100 ish chapters behind. They just went into overdrive to catch up.

I'm really wondering about Noa's family , it would be funny if the mom is the normal one and all the crazy is the dad's sides.

It's hinted that her family is abscent, but who knows?

It amuses me that Noa seems completely unaware of how low one must think of someone's pride and self-respect to expect them to instantly fall in love with someone who simply praiising them. If I didn't know her, I would think that she really kinda realizes that Rihito is the protagonist of a romcom story.

She reads too many romcoms that are like "he was so gentle, he said hi to me when other people don't, I love him"

My two cents: new boss lady is tsundere for Noa.
They both joined around the same time, both very talented and since she seems competitive likely thought of herself as Noa's rival.
So when her "rival" got transferred she felt betrayed.
