Definitely. Ruri has special features. She's cute but also looks rather sickly, as if her lifestyle is unhealthy. She has dead eyes and they look as if she stays up way longer than it's good for her. If her skin was paler, she'd look like dead woman walking.

Her eyes are also unique.

Mh, yes, and if I had to write a what-if story, Ruri would have "discerning eyes" which let her see through falsehood and lies. That skill would be the reason for her bevavior. Ruri would be about the only girl who never actually falls for Sou's charms even if it works on her to a degree. She would admit he's a looker and a good man, but also claim he can never be her soulmate.
