But all they did was bring up a valid opinion, and I don't remember them saying they won't continue the story, just pointing out a trope thats overused and honestly weird. The pacing is a little slow, not sure how they'll balance the tone of this series since they’re pretty much going to kill people for money but it’s been strangely if not off-puttingly lighthearted so far. I only see this being worthwhile if the series becomes a lot heavier and grounded or if they went the sakamoto days route with more focus on the action itself.

Three chapters in and it doesn’t seem very promising though. 🤔 I’ll keep reading anyway since I have nothing better to do on my daily commutes but wouldn’t hesitate to drop this if the plot goes nowhere.
