My WAG, they are going to assume it's the old and busted golem. When they goto leave they kick it into its max speed and loose control causing much damage. Golem of course will be unharmed because Univas reinforced it.

My guess is they're going to beat him back to the village because he's improved the horse & claim he blackmailed or kidnpped the village children to get them to say Univas dug the well & saved the village.

The horrible spirit is going to believe them & Univas will probably be arrested which will lead into finding out the backstory of the spirit lady.

Frankly I want to see the girls destroy the village because how they have angered the spirits, and they shall live to tell the tale of how they have done goofed.
Previous chapters have set spirits are acting like parents toward humans, therefore as a parent it is only right to teach naughty kids lessons they will never forget.

Agreed.

They hinted awhile ago when the wind spirit princess asked him why he wasn't angry and I think he said something like "I can't afford to be angry" where I assume it's implying that maybe he got angry before and the spirits responded to his anger and did something.

But it's insufferable & crazy that he doesn't care that he's getting slandered & evil people are benefiting from his works where he feels no desire for justice.

I hope soon there's actually a moment he's forced to act & use his strength to resolve a problem because it's just irritating at this point.

This one felt really weird, like there wasn't even any sort of local spirit angry with the townsfolk or anything like that. There was just no water and Univas asked the spirit of the well "hey can you make water here pretty please" and bang problem solved. Most of the conversation wasn't even with one of the local well spirits, it's the same one we saw before who was just visiting. We don't even get anything as to why the well spirits weren't doing anything, and evidently there wasn't any problem because Univas just asked them (after flirting with the other three spirits with all the energy of damp cardboard) and they just went okay yeah sure.
