As much as I love this Manga, its taking way too long. I cant go on waiting for months for single chapter just for them to repeatedly trying to see who's stronger or what and Cid pretending to be a mob for 90% of the Arc

I never felt connected to this series since Cid literally never takes it seriously, and I've never felt that any of the main characters are in real danger. I'm just in it for the stupid stuff that Cid keeps believing/doing, or somehow fooling or coincidentally telling the truth to people who are way WAY smarter than him. This has even less stakes than One Punch Man.

Normal? It's another arc with Cid being in disguise and spouting bullshit again, what's different?

I've caught two references, but I suppose there are more I'm missing:

First, Otoutorion is literally otouto (younger brother in JP) + orion. Maybe he could be Lilbrorion (?)

Then, of course, Gendou: named after Evangelion's and even doing his characteristic pose.

I think its because of the pacing; everyone is in disguise so you have to remember who everyone is, and then who everyone ACTUALLY is.
Which is a bit of a shame because I love how in his element Cid is.

Lalanoa and that one mob girl from the jack the ripper arc truly are the anti-cid characters.
One steals his mob shticks and the other interrupts his cringeologues , what perils….
Makes it funny that Cid seemingly more serious in this arc because he keeps getting interrupted.
