So we really switch to full gear on drama?
I am not hating it, just asking

Suddenly saw echoes of Eren in Kurose, ofc massively different characters and arcs but feels are feeling 🥲Man, no joke I genuinely see myself in kurose rn. Didn't really have anyone like that to get over it, glad he had someone like Haimiya in this situation.
On another note guess its time for Kurose to help her out again like how she did right now. 🙏🏽
Pretty much agree. I don't mind drama in a rom com, but the way this author introduced it to the story just feels off. There's definitely a much better way to foreshadow things or setting the tone when you want to turn a slice of life into more of a drama.after binging the chapters available up until now, i think this manga is going downhill pretty fast. it was at its best at the start, when it was just the mc and fmc being cute together, but now that the author is trying to insert new characters and drama into the story, its clear she is out of her depth and doesnt really know how to do it. pretty sad, i actually liked it alot when it came out
what if the nurse is just like
"oh yeah she really needs to study and get her grades up so she'll be really busy at cram school thanks for getting her motivated also here's her number if you want to meet up with her lemme know when the wedding date is"
then u cant read. no one is complaining that there is drama, they are complaining that its poorly done. whats even more hilarious is ur comment acting like the drama in this manga has any weight to itThe only thing I can take from the comments is that an average reader can't read anything other than slice of life slop with no weight to the story at all.
damn, dude made a prediction and a review on the entire thing. I mean, I think it's ok, it's just a cutie lovely story, even if is cliche, it's good to see that the author is indie and trying to make it's thing. And there's the "Just don't have trauma," "Wow, thanks! I'm cured!" That I was worried about when Kurose's trauma was introduced
edit: Since I got some valid comments I want to clarify. My issue isn't that Haimiya was able to help him take a step forward and feel better in the moment. I also acknowledge that he says the wounds will remain. My issue is that the story moves on so quickly into Haimiya's issues without letting Kurose's situation fully resolve so it feels like a hand-wave of his situation. Literally one more chapter showing him talking to the band, expressing his sincere apology and explaining the situation (pushed forward and supported by Haimiya) and them removing the self inflicted pressure by emphasizing that they want to play with him because they like him and have fun playing with him but he shouldn't feel pressured to play and if he's not sure they'll figure something out, or something, then lead into Haimiya's situation, and give Kurose one more "i'm so nervous/trauma response" moment right before performing but seeing Haimiya in the crowd and his bandmates supporting him lets him perform and kill it would close out both arcs perfectly (imo) by letting both characters have enough time and respect shown for their respective situations. As it stands, Kurose's trauma feels like "we developed Kurose" and more like "This was just a stepping stone to move the story along" and that makes his trauma a plot device and not a character trait. I dislike that is all.
I get passionate about things I care about. You should see the dissertations I've sent my best friend on the Ys franchise. I think one of them was approaching 1,800 word count (across like 5 messages and a couple days of me just gushing as I played) for one of the 10 games loldamn, dude made a prediction and a review on the entire thing. I mean, I think it's ok, it's just a cutie lovely story, even if is cliche, it's good to see that the author is indie and trying to make it's thing.
Hahahahaha I didnt expect that end at all 😂.Mio did something amazing here; one of the kindest things you can do for someone who's feeling confused and under pressure is to show feet.
