What they do isn't quite the same thing, there is overlap, but they're different mediums and what works for good publishing in the one isn't necessarily also good in the other, they're completely different skillsets. The real problem is that they let the broadcasting club expand beyond what would usually be their responsibilities while the newspaper club stagnated. Usually, the broadcasting club would just be responsible for announcements and other broadcasts over the PA system and maybe releasing news about school events to the public, while the newspaper club would be the ones responsible for a broader scope of written news and physical publications. So both of the newspaper club and the broadcasting club literally report on the exact same events. Just close the newspaper club there's no reason for it. Literally the only reason why the teacher didn't want the newspaper club closed was because that would open up a slot for a new club to be established and they didn't want to deal with the headache of doing that. Just let it shutdown.
Where the hell have you heard that learning by example has been villainized as theft?????? I have never heard anyone say anything like that. His mindset on page 9 is exactly the problem with the world anymore. Of course surfing the internet can teach you how to write articles and design page layouts, it's called "learning by example," it used to be a common skill and now it's villainized as theft even though it's the basis of human learning. It's no wonder everything is falling apart when everyone refuses to acknowledge that repeating the same mistakes that lead others to ruin will also lead themselves to ruin. If you see the same chain of events unfolding time and time again all over the world throughout history, it's probably not a good idea to tread down the same path unless you want the same result; likewise, if you see that certain page layouts are easier to use or that certain writing styles draw more attention, it would probably be a good idea to actually take note and use that knowledge to improve your own writing.
Also,

The closes thing I could imagine is the loony ramblings by mentally ill morons on social media about such and such content creator/artist copying so and so's styles/techniques/format?Where the hell have you heard that learning by example has been villainized as theft?????? Hey there! Thanks for your feedback! Please look forward to our next release!Guys, please stop encouraging this guy. He's a sniper deliberately pissing off groups who work hard to make quality releases by using MTL. Please block him.
It's monthly and TBH bro, their romance is out of control. The writer's literally like, trying to have a "Twin" partner type "mindset" in the modern Japan. And like, you know the normal laws and all that, I think honestly, the mangaka's doing well with that kind of mindset lol.I'd have to double-check, but I don't think that 'But she's super cute!' is a valid legal defense.

That too, but also generative AI; the hardware behind it is different, but the process by which the AI learns is the same as any student. You show it examples and have it attempt to produce content in the same style, critiquing and grading the results until it produces acceptable work consistently enough for your satisfaction. The only actual difference is that the AI won't decide to charge you $50000 or deny your commission just because it disagrees with something you posted 20 years ago.The closes thing I could imagine is the loony ramblings by mentally ill morons on social media about such and such content creator/artist copying so and so's styles/techniques/format?![]()
Generative AI is completely different from a person. Generative AI is actual theft because it's straight up steals the original image and uses it as training data. There is no learning by example. Generative AI also has a huge impact on the environment because the data centers pollute so much. The fact that you compare training generative AI to an actual person learning something shows how stupid you are. That too, but also generative AI; the hardware behind it is different, but the process by which the AI learns is the same as any student. I can tell you're completely clueless about the behind the scenes is AI training, NONE of the data used to train the AI is preserved inside it's memory, and no amount of effort can get the AI to spit back out the images as they were fed in. The same applies for text and audio. You are, however, able to extract mostly intact versions of the things that a human learned from by using brain imaging and just basic triggers like the title or a single notable detail from the piece.Generative AI is completely different from a person.
