Does anyone still read Dame Ningen? I remember some people mentioning it here and saying that the fmc was shit hahahaha, how does that manga continue?

Nah the fmc is kinda weird and what shes done was also not ok, but she is fine after we saw why she does it its kinda a trauma, the current development is also great it will be a happy end iirc so all good with this one

In the last few chapters, the author ruined the FMC's character by revealing her past, which included an ex-boyfriend whom she treated with great affection (unlike the MC, whom she constantly belittled and humiliated throughout the manga). It was also revealed that she only became the MC's girlfriend to use him as a replacement and forget her ex-boyfriend who had cheated on her and was also a loser. Furthermore, it was revealed that she gave her virginity to her ex-boyfriend so he wouldn't leave her. All of this enraged fans, who then flooded the author with hate on her X account. In the last chapter, their relationship ended because of the FMC's mother.

Well it was at the beginning but she really fell in lvoe with mc lol... also it was explained why she did all that. Was it right? hell nah. But simply saying yeah she just humiliated him and he was her exs replacement is not right tho.

I don't get why people are bashing her, she is such a complex but very good written character that it's a shame we are already near the end. Her past is so fucked up and sad it's no wonder she doesn't know how to treat not just MC, but people in general.
She's not a virgin? Who the fuck cares, it's not like she cheated! She didn't even know the MC then... Do these "fans" not read Daredemo and similar stuff where everyone is a slut, and literally nobody cares?

On the other hand, since the last chapter , there might be a time-skip in the next one, revealing that the FMC ended up living abroad with her mother. They might reunite after several months or years.

I tend to agree. She reached outside of her niche and got hammered for it. She was shown shes not liked because shes a good writer but father just because her niche has hard-core fans that will like whatever slop has NTR in it, even if its hot garbage.

I wouldn't say it was because she reached outside of her niche, I would say it's because she didn't realize her work moved outside what she normally writes. The hate wasn't because of the ntr it was because it seemed there wouldn't be that crossing the Rubicon point. As long as those two stayed together it was a story about a guy trying to keep a girl safe in a risky profession while reaching for their dreams. Instead we got a stereotypical netorare story.

There might've been another way to go about it but I think Airi was reaching a point where she no longer knew how to carry the story without doing something dramatic, and the newbie editor was also clueless and went along with it, or propsed the idea themselves (we'll never know).

The way I see it, the story was already writing itself into a corner (starting around after the director bait), because if Shinobu and Sakura remained together it's likely that neither would achieve their dream in the end.

Shinobu would continue to be stuck as Sakura's manager (recall the conversation he had with Fumi that Sakura overheard bits of), and Sakura wouldn't have made it into a bigger agency without blonde/fucboi connections in the short run.

The counterpoint here would be potentially Mio's connections in the long run over blonde+fucboi since she eventually had her own agency, but GraPara didn't have the luxury of time and the result is the rushed mess of time skips and nonsense we got, into an ending where ShiKura somehow still "happens" but is then left on such a strange and unsatisfying note.

Yeah I dont understand this hate either... imo its pretty good. Also better than quirky girl with the forced ntr lol. In this one we saw fmc MAYBE having sex with her ex and that for a specific reason... The hate is absurd.

No manga coming to my mind. As for those extra pages (left being most likely): non-canon extra, fucboiXSakura, damage control.

This is if I'm trying to view it from Airi's perpective. A non-canon extra featuring Chico wouldn't be unthinkable, and takes the lowest effort with little risk. An extension of fucboiXSakura's night might make Airi and her loyal fans happy and boost sales more but risks bringing back the harassment (or maybe not since months have passed now since GraPara has ended and/or Airi+Artist are pretty inactive on X now). Damage control would be nice but this takes the most effort, and if Airi does hate Shinobu, this is the least likely to happen.

Ah, the pre-order for volume 14 of the manga on MagaPoke has disappeared. As stated on Kodansha's page, the release date has been postponed to December 4th. I wonder what happened.

Yup it was pushed back to December. Kodansha or the Artist probably told her to shove it because she wanted to make more Sakura cheating.
