Wow this manga is actual hot trash, this story feels like it was written by a spectacularly untalented child with how bland and basic it is and I don't even think that fully explains the childishness of this story.
This 'trope' is mostly a problem with being a difficult to translate concept. It is more akin to 'You've just made us angrier' or 'You've just given us an excuse to go all out' rather than them actually being angry at them for defending themselves. Sort like saying they should've just taken...
Oof this is garbage, talk about 0 capability as an author to just regurgitate the most basic trope yet somehow make it even worse by not even attempting to add any flair to it. Newsflash it wasn't just to avoid a scandal, it was also because of the perceived actual dangers and also he already...
That is pretty much how it was in the first half of the manga, I did find her completely shift in personality really weird tbh. She doesn't act like the Lorraine we're introduced to and get to know for 20+ chapters at all anymore. Glad to know it wasn't the author but probably an editor that...
Trope? I can't remember this happening in any other story ever. I agree they didn't really foreshadow it properly but I'd hardly call this a trope lol.
Oof, can't say I'm surprised how many bigots missed the forest for the trees thinking this was an anti-SJW manga rather than an anti-hypocrisy and anti-reactionary manga. Funnily enough the people reacting like that are literally the people being criticized by the manga.
This is literally World of Warcraft the manga, the elf called her world Azeroth in a previous chapter, the plot is about the Shadowlands/The Emerald Dream. The realm shattering is ripped straight out of the Shadowlands expansion trailer. The big bad is clearly just 'The Jailer' that connected...
@Lex79 Yeah, that doesn't excuse it though lol. She wasn't literally kidnapped against her will, she agreed to her parents pressuring her into it, ultimately the blame still falls on her. Hence why Japan can be really fucked up sometimes because the author passed it off like this was normal that...
Yikes it is always awkward when these situations happen and the guy stands there arms by his side, but I guess it wouldn't be Kazuya if he wasn't being awkward.
It is pretty obvious Hime isn't winning shit lol I'm almost certain she is being set up as the one to get axed this time, bet the author's editor yelled at him real good about how the readers felt about chapter 6 so he was rushed into wrapping it up. Good idea to be honest but it is clearly...
@nawoon
I think the point of the story at the moment is to develop them past their presence as over-the-top simps. It makes sense, rarely are people purely black or white so I'm glad the story is starting to take itself more seriously and develop them properly.
