Akira is pretty spitiful, but I suppose some thing won't change in reincarnation, due to retaining his memories. He was spitiful in his previous life as well. In this life he should be all happy, but he instead spends time hating things that might or might not happen in the future, just because he died unhappy in his previous life. Well, at least he's like that only occasionally, so the reincarnation wasn't wasted.
