Dunno if the Saintess is too far gone already. Like Absolute said, she's spent most of her life cloistered by the Church, so coming out into the world like this may be a bit of a culture shock for her.

I also appreciate how Alicia is all business with Absolute here. She knows what the game is, and she got her head there, quick, fast, and in a hurry.

I wouldn't read too much into it. It's one of two things.

1) They aren't screwing around with Absolute - to truly test the Saintess's abilities, they had to do it in a pair match like this. This is supported in that they paired Absolute with someone else, and that someone else is no slouch, nor given to throwing a match.

Or...

2) It is politically motivated, but they're being very intelligent about it. I'm sure that the Saintess could have gotten a pass - just like the Hero - on the Church's recommendation. But what exactly those political motivations are? It's unclear at this point, and could be any number of reasons, maybe even a combination of reasons.

They're a for profit group so they release first on their website (ignore the release dates there, their old site got DCMA'd so they had to start a new one) and prioritize the series that get the most views and donations (they paywall new chapters on their most popular series). Given most of their readers only care about manwha/manhau, it's unlikely anything will change. Best bet would probably be to convince a another scanlation group to pickup the series.
