What do people have against side couple also featuring in the story? This is the second time a series has done a poll on if they want to see more of a side couple and the people rejected it. Frankly I find this side couple's plot just as fun to read as the main couple.

I mean the main couple is resolved and honestly the side couple is a lot less frustrating than the main development wise (which both are fine but hey after the first bumpy ride you want a smooth one next).

Side couples are an important aspect to the longevity of any romance manga. Side characters expand the number of tools and storylines the writer has access to and allow breathing room.

For a romance manga to grow past its intial premise it has to have somewhere to grow.
