Break next week. Funny that people were asking about connections to Helck, before.
Back in that series, it was mentioned that the father of everyone's favorite speedster, Kenrose, was a servant of the White Heavenly King. Wonder if this is that guy, or maybe even Kenrose himself?

Its nice to see everyone moving forward together again. Though the extra page makes me feel a bit conflicted. Like "nonono it wasn't a lie of midirection for the audience, there just so happened to be a pile of corpses nearby! See everyone is happy! ignore the corpses." At least the Nanaki is aware of it, I guess. Just leaves me feeling a bit awkward about it.

i often saw people note this being a sequel to Helck, but i was never intrigued enough to start that series, even if it's finished. but depending on how this new character is developed, i might start seeing myself go for it.

Kenrose wouldn't slice people up though?
Yeah, that's why I lean towards it's probably Kenrose-poppa.
But seeing the K-man himself would be so cool, part of me is hoping that all those raiders just KO-ed each other trying to hit him, as was his style, or something, instead.

Honestly, I thought it was hilarious. It was more like Nanao owning up to it all and going "psych! LOL!"

I'm thinking it's likely that it is Kenros, his outfit has matching pieces (Boots and Pants look almost the same, seems to have a scarf thingy which Kenros also has)
Im going insane

OH YEAH... I gave a reread of Helck not too much time ago, and now I remember that tidbit about his father.

And if my memory isn't failing me now, I think there was even a info chart of Kenros that said his father tried to teach him martial arts but as Kenros is pacifist by heart he didn't caught to it, but as he is a people's person that can make friends with anyone and very quick, he was working as a delivery man and went to Vamirio's domain because of this and that.

The simplicity of his silhouette kinda matches Kenros, as he wasn't a particularly unique demon appearance wise, but the fact this guy is so quick but doesn't have a DS does give credibility to that.

I've always thought of this as a prequel to Helck, since the surreal sword wars were mentioned as happening in the by past by Azudora (iirc) and the Northern threat isn't present in this series. Kenros or his dad making an appearance now would make sense to me.

The war azudora was in wasnt the surreal sword wars, it was simply human war.

The northern threat isnt present because its on another continent, where Helck takes place.
