I enjoyed that even in this chapter, S+S still weren't willing to let him live that down. Even just "I'm gonna go off alone for 2 hours" was immediately shot down.

Palu's generally seemed pretty on the up-and-up, though she does have her own Divergent Sword that she seems able to use as some sort of last resort, that we haven't seen come into play. She's less helpless than one might expect from a wandering botanist, but we haven't seen anything to believe any worse about her than that.

Maybe you're thinking of Morkana, the cult leader?
