Karina starting to realize she willingly waltzed into a den of thirsty hungry wolves...

I think Aurora is secretly trying to help her sister. That or Karina really did do something genuinely awful to her and we just don't know about it yet. I really hope it's not a "jealous of her sister who wasn't sickly" type plot tho. Hate that shit.

Those puppies were very cute. I wanna pet them and give them cookies.

Not saying that it excuses anything but considering how she's constantly going on about manipulating these 'naive beasts' to fight for her I personally see it more as a case of two more or less ruthless schemer being stuck to each other
It's mostly the power gap here. Yes she is racist but she's also powerless and miserable whereas this other lady is happy and willing to enslave and rape her. If the tables were turned and the MC had the power to throw these people into the woodchipper I imagine she would.
Right now we're at the 'everyone sucks here can't wait for character growth' era.

It seems like a set up or a test, but was it because she had plans to romance a princess she heard got exiled into her territory or if she has broader political plans and kingdom building? Maybe a bit of A and a bit of B.
I'm set on her plotting to get her dream wife because so far it seems like no politics thoughts is going through her head. Perhaps the only time she gets into it is to justify even more why Karina should come to the tribe ("they exiled you, they have no use for you, yet here we do!!")

Could still feasibly be a situation where the sisters are jealous past each other, where Karina wished to have been treated more gently and Aurora wished to be taken more seriously. If the prince is the real asshole in this, he could have played up the latter in a "oh, you're so much smarter than anyone gives you credit for, especially your sister who stole your place" manner to get the bride he wanted.

Admittedly, this is all massive speculation on my part tho.

Stuff like this bothers me so much. Like sure this lady is better than where she's coming from, but still the nonconsensual nature of it all just bothers me sooooooo much. Especially since she comes from an environment where she had no choices to begin with. Makes me mad on her behalf
I think this manga is supposed to be pretty toxic or at least start that way. The wolf lady's motives are pure but actions are bad and Karina's motives are impure but to achieve them she'll do good things for the wolves.

Yuri with the villain genre is really interesting, especially with the biting on the neck, making it even more interesting.

That would make my joke that Reshutoka turned into a cute little defenceless puppy on purpose when she saw Karina coming closer and closer to the truth.

I mean, we did see she can cause an avalanche… What guarantees us the howling and the big wolf we saw back in chapter 1 wasn’t Reshutoka trying to lure the new residents because “it’s a castle so a princess must live there” and it turned out a “princess” DID show up so she just pulled the wet dog act and kidnapped the bride??
Omg this is so funny and I am inclined to believe it's true. This loser lesbian really committed to the bit. Imagine if she got teased in the tribe for being a human lover (although they seem very accepting of Karina.)

Kinda hope the little sister has been running defense behind the scenes for Karina, including the act of separating her from her fiancee.
Maybe we'll see her abscond to be with Karina under the guise of going to finish the job that the assassins failed at.
I know, I know. Hope is the first step upon the road to disappointment, but idc. Don't want to believe that the sisters who apparently had such a strong and wholesome bond in childhood could be so at odds now.

Okay, while I can definitely see where you're coming from, you're missing the most important part. Everything she's done thus far is 100% justified by the fact that she's a hot lesbian wolf girl.

3.2 chapters in and no furry yuri feet? I’m afraid this manga is not for me 😔
The heck you talking about degenerate? And when I say degenerate, I mean your eyes! There’s some at the end of chapter 1 and start of chapter 2! Not exactly a close up, but it is the heart of winter after all!

While I don't want to justify any of the Wolf Girl actions, I like how despite "forcing" Karina to stay in the village as her wife, she wants the best for Karina. While Karina on the other has morally questionable goals but acts friendly and cooperates with Wolf Girl. A nice contrast between the two.

I think is time for some development in the relationship between the two main girls, which is the thing I'm mostly here for.
