I am really curious where in the "timeline" this story happens.

We know this is Earth in the future, far future, we know this seems to be on another continent of the world.

We know that Kohaku is one of the heavenly kings of the empire, and one that was mentioned in Helck... but with all the things that happened... but at this point I am kinda confused how things connect.

Is there a chance that the events of this story were somewhat concurrent to the ones in Helck... that would be an interesting twist.

All I remembered for sure was that the Will of the World was confirmed to be a thing and that Kohaku knew what it is. Do you remember where those other things got confirmed?

Kohaku being one of the 4HK hasn't been explicitly stated, but it's one of those things where the implication is so strong, that if she isn't, it's basically going to be Nanao deliberately setting up a bait-and-switch sort of plot twist. The cameos at the end of volume 7 of Helck, and the end of the Piwi miniseries (which, coming back to the timeline, also imply that this series takes place at least 100 years after Helck, though that's not explicit, either), her connection to the White Tiger from Chinese folklore (both summoning Byakko, and the fact that her name is basically the same, spelled backwards, and being "from the west"...the White Tiger's domain is the east, so the Empire would be to the west), hints about Kenrose and his father in the Helck extras, and then the cameo a couple chapters back. There's a lot.

That's Rafaed's daughter from Helck. Sharaumi, or Shalamy, depending on which translation you're going with.

I'm in a Shierke camp of thinking to hard about the logistics of all of this.

Can't remember each chapter, but I can say that it isn't like it was blatantly said, but the hints are too strong to be anything else.

Kohaku has all the little motifs of being the white heavenly king, and she is too strong to just be a random person, especially with some of the techniques she uses (like the wood magic she used against that castle, and that a friend of her's was the one that created it).

This being just another continent in the same world as Helck is pretty much clear by the way some things are said, Kohaku is here, and it was confirmed in Helck that the world where they live is Earth thousands of years in the future, like tens of thousands by what was hinted, maybe close to the hundreds.

Oh... little thing it just came to my mind... the moss "birds" race that Piyui belongs, they are a confirmation that this is the same world, can't believe I was leaving that out of my mind XD.

And the mysterious guy that appeared a few chapters back may be Kenros' dad, who was confirmed to be a high-ranking subordinate of the white heavenly king and is searching for his liege, that is... Kohaku.
