see them out to dinner once
immediately jump to terrible conclusions
I know right? They're teenagers but blaming her for not blowing him off is so stupid loli get that theyre teenagers but man i dont think i was that rash when i was one
We all tend to think we weren't that bad. I'm scared to interrogate that line of thinking deep enough to make sure hahahahai get that theyre teenagers but man i dont think i was that rash when i was one
i'm thinking that i'll bring stacks of tax papers everytime i eat out with a dude from now on hahhahaMan and Woman discussing at a table?
Must be war plans behind the scenes.
Ye, they really made her dumb to drag out this drama, when she could've just denied it here and there but no, she has to take it somewhere else like there's actually going on and it needs to be secret conversation, also the fact that she could've just clearly stated that "No, I meant we won't have any private talk in the future at all" to that other teacher, but no, she has to keep it to herself.I know right? They're teenagers but blaming her for not blowing him off is so stupid lol
and she was not doing a good job of defending herself either, the dialogue in this chapter felt so contrived
Yeah, all she needed to say that she went out to dinner with a coworker to talk about work/life advice (because thats precisely what happened). But to be fair the kids stormed off without giving her time to properly explain herself. Not helped by the male teacher being coy with the situation too.I know right? How dare this man once again benignly suggest dating a woman he's acquainted with. It makes me sick.Itaoka's continuing to justify my read of him as a creep.
Not only did this happen once, it happened three times in this one chapter. Miscommunication is one thing but this is just a complete avoidance of communication. But to be fair the kids stormed off without giving her time to properly explain herself.
While I don’t currently think he’s a creep, I think he just gives off a weird vibe because of the way the story is framed. It’s being told from the perspective of a teacher who cares a great deal about her students thoughts and feelings. Meanwhile Itaoka has been shown to be fairly dismissive of the students feelings. How dare this man once again benignly suggest dating a woman he's acquainted with. It makes me sick.
