Welp, that's... pretty underwhelming. The drama is cheap and the characters aren't written to be at all likeable. The presentation couldn't be any less compelling. This must be what rage-bait as a manga feels like.

Ye, they really made her dumb to drag out this drama, when she could've just denied it here and there but no, she has to take it somewhere else like there's actually going on and it needs to be secret conversation, also the fact that she could've just clearly stated that "No, I meant we won't have any private talk in the future at all" to that other teacher, but no, she has to keep it to herself.

Yeah, all she needed to say that she went out to dinner with a coworker to talk about work/life advice (because thats precisely what happened). But to be fair the kids stormed off without giving her time to properly explain herself. Not helped by the male teacher being coy with the situation too.

Not only did this happen once, it happened three times in this one chapter. Miscommunication is one thing but this is just a complete avoidance of communication.

While I don’t currently think he’s a creep, I think he just gives off a weird vibe because of the way the story is framed. It’s being told from the perspective of a teacher who cares a great deal about her students thoughts and feelings. Meanwhile Itaoka has been shown to be fairly dismissive of the students feelings.
