It’s common to be “dense” but comphet aside I imagine with the first love and such she’s been gay for a while to where one would unintentionally blow off a man flirting with them

Tho, even if she doesn’t “out” herself I’m surprised she wouldn’t imply that she also had someone in her life as well to where he’d also understand and give up even if it’s more complicated on her end
