Anybody knows if Miya Kazuki ever explained in the Fanbooks why Bindelwald who is a Gibe and archnoble of a greater duchy has neither a protective charm nor a knight? The knight can be overlooked since he has many Devouring soldiers but having no charms despite his rank and status since lacking as a noble.

Probably can't wear them when basically infiltrating another duchy without permission without arousing suspicions.

I would suggest you stop replying to the guy, he just has hate boner for this series just because Myne isn't 'experimenting with magic' the way HE imagined magic should be.

It's actually pretty hilarious if you understand the full details of what just happened.

The hilarity is that Myne overload the orb so hard it turned into gold dust, a very valuable magical reagent because it take absurd amount of mana to turn a magic stone into gold dust like that.

And her turning things into gold dust will be a running gag in the series (both the intentional and accidental kinds)

Nope, it'd go to 65 at the very least consider that the raw is up to 62 now.

He said the volume ends with chapter 60, so he's technically not wrong.

But yes, part II will have one additional volume (13 total). Most volumes had 5 chapters, so 65 is a good guess. But I also wouldn't be surprised if 63 was a double chapter, since an Important Scene is coming up next and it really deserves some two-page spreads.

Looking at the LN, as of the end of manga chapter 62, all that's left is: 1 main story chapter, 1 epilogue and 8 short stories. I'm curious how they'll handle all that.

Edit: a few hours later and chapter 63 is out. 26 pages; the title includes a 前編 ("first part"); it covers most of the final main story chapter, stopping right before... "stuff".
