I like this series so far and think Haruka is an interesting protagonist, but I'm not entirely sure what I want out of the narrative. It feels somewhere in between a slow life and fantasy action story

Doing a good job with the manga, so keep going with it as it does follow the novel pretty close.
I read the raws for the novel and even the author for the novel seems to enjoy the manga version as well, in the later chapters (from around ch1100 onwards) the author is always mentioning to give the manga a read the day it comes out.
Oh and for those that don't want to read the raws the english version is worth the read (as of today it is at ch238).

And just one last thing that i still see here, the other FMC is Collin, not Corrin, i have mentioned this in the past, it could have gone either way with early raws chapters, but when you get past the 1000 chapter mark of the novel raws "Collin" always comes up, just thought i would give it a mention.

While fluffy, I am still waiting for the eventual encounter with an elf and "Haruka is actually 170 years old" revelation.
An elf who is actually young in fantasy, no way!

I really don't think that this manga will actually see romance, or at least not for Haruka.
And surely not while she's still thinking of herself as some "Old man"

Yeah, Haruka is complex. They could have easily gone through the route of, "hot dark elf and her sexy adventures," but they kept the methodical, slower, less-fanservice, and more serious take on things, which I do appreciate greatly.

So Cody's was testing Haruka to see how she reacted. He needed some assurances for himself that Haruka could be open minded and reasonable when making contact with the Destroyer races.

It starts to make sense why he was poking and prodding Haruka, even giving her "bad" advice. He wanted to see if she would do as told by someone for a commission.

Still waiting for us to see someone else who's of old age like another elf or a dragon and telling us that MC isn't young while potentially being a romance partner too because atm I don't think MC fits with any of his teammates as a romantic partner, also MC hasn't really blushed/thought anyone was pretty etc so like others have said sadly doesn't seem like there's any romance I wana see more older folks+wonder wtf is destroyers, either way this is interesting but also slow OTL
