For those who are frustrated at MC being so black hole-levels of dense to not even comprehend his surroundings after 1200+ years, do keep in mind that the environment he grew up in, according to the demon, was living so far off the common sense of the world that it drove him mad enough to disappear on his own.

Whoever taught MC about the world at that time was probably as dense, if not more about it than him to where if they think creating an immortality potion was common in their town, then living for over a millennium is probably the equivalent of a child's first decade of life to them whose passage of time has passed just as fast.

When you have a black hole surrounded by other black holes, there's nothing one can do but to wait for the inevitability of getting sucked into it, regardless how much we run away from it.

It could be some kind of time distortion effect inside the village, but we know it's been 1200 years for Hilde. No wonder she's pissed at his immortality potion. 1200 years, and she's still not old enough to date.

And we know from Maria, the Virgin Witch, that women will trade immortality, eternal youth, and magical power, just for some dick...

Actually, there are zero women in the entire history of the world that would take that exchange.

it is good to see that old man helping and he is so grateful for them to help his daugther. he was just a father who went in despair and went to the wrong people to get help.
glad he is doing better and is helpful to MC.

i KEEP to forget that the demon lady got huge boobs. i keep to think of her with average size boobs.. and then this manga KEEPS to destroy that mental picture with her balloons.

I personally feel like Kuruto being dense isn't the problem. The problem is the others not telling him that the ways of his people are too much for the normal people.
I believe that them letting him create an holy relic thinking he's making a butter knife is worse than his ability of making a butter knife on par with a national treasure...if it makes sense.
Maybe he'd still find it weird, but if they were to tell him the full story about his godly skills and how they kinda don't fit in their society and how he should tone it down a bit, that would create less problems than him obliviously breaking all common-sense.
Like, dude has been cutting bread with mithril knives all his life, how can he understand that normally it's not possible if they don't tell him lol

Chapter 46, page 6, Kuruto said that Hildegard should be 18 now. What does she mean 1200 years?

I mean, multiple people have tried multiple times and he refuses to believe it or accept proportionate compensation, and there's a succession conflict going on in the background of the kingdom, so the premise has been that the fewer people know about the absurdly talented Innocent Little Guy who hangs out with the princess that has an active plot to assassinate her going on, the better. Loose lips sink ships and all that.

Look, I'm not trying to start shit with the comment section, but "comically" slipping and/or shouting "it's impossible/not normal" at him isn't exactly "trying to explain to him". You say he refuses to believe....well, duh...he's from a village of overpowered weirdos, he legit thinks that everyone can do what he does, because until not long ago, everyone around him could do it probably even better than him.
Maybe I'm failing to explain myself better, and I understand this is part of the plot, but reading of Yurishia's guilt of not telling him things properly because she and everyone else think it's better and safer for him it's starting to feel like author just can't write character growth and prefers to stay to the "safe" comedy of "op but dense/dumb character".
Sure , let's keep the op dude skills a secret from the dude himself meanwhile he goes in the middle of the town, digs a hotspring and builds a footbath in a couple of hours like it's the most normal thing in the world.

I know it's me and maybe a couple of other people here that think of this, but making it so that Kuruto becomes aware that he can do things that normal people can't, won't ruin the plot.
You can still have people going after Lise's life, people trying to summon demons, political shit and overpowered creations.
What would change is simply going from "look, Kuruto made me this sword...oh shit, it's a holy sword, wtf" to "K: i made you a sword that has the same functions of a holy sword" and people going ape-shit about it

Besides, considering how many people already know about Kuruto's abilities, I don't understand how him knowing and becoming aware of it would bring a loose lips issue.
