LMAO I was right, poly relationships is HOT FUCKING GARBAGE in a NOT FANTASY modern world, I can't believe some people tried gaslighting me into believing that POLY could actually work LOL get that garbage out of here ffs its like the highest type of relationship that ends in fucking divorce IRL and yet they SOMEHOW they think it could work 🤡

Oh and MC is still the slave/servant/cuck in the relationship......DUDE DOESN'T EVEN GET A KISS IN THE FINAL CHAPTER with ANY OF THE GIRLS like BRUH they had the 2 girls kiss one another and he doesn't LMFAO also wild how dating for 4 years and no marriage either aka no rings 🤡

I'm so glad this shit is over, PLS AUTHOR never cook again in manga, just stick to art or blue archive doujins :shamihuh:

Is not perfect and I think it should have elaborated more on how the world around them reacted to it, but I LOVED how "Messenger of the sea" handled its harem, especially is not one of those where the romance actually starts 5 chapters before the end.

But wasn't Messenger of the Sea had some like religion/cult aspect to it or something, I even see MC dressed up in it in one of the covers, so it makes Sense why a harem could work for them

But for this series everyone is just a regular fucking normal Highschooler, they weren't royalty that harems could work, they weren't part of a religious cult where harems could work, they weren't in a fantasy land where Harems is normal because being strong means you live longer hence you people want you, they weren't part of a world where people have super powers either as hunters or heroes hence harems could work.......these people where just NORMAL people hence it makes ZERO sense why this ended up as a harem since IRL harems are DOG SHIT and does NOT work hence why this series is ASS and ended up getting axed HARD :aquadrink: what this author forgot is that Harems ONLY work in fantasy land :smug:

I thin you are starting with the wrong assumption, the point I think is to take an incredible idea and make it credible in our world.

Jurassic Park for example, at least the first one exists in our world with our tech and tries to make the incredible idea of bringing Dino's back to life through cloning somewhat believable.

Too many authors can't even be bothered to make a standard romance believable, like Dress up Darling with Gotou being as uncomfortable around Mari pre-couple post and even post wedding.

That's not cute, that will lead to an unhappy marriage.

I think the author did plan the throuple but without knowing how to actually develope it.
While Messenger of the sea (which you should read) made it believable even if we don't see enough of their future, because the characters go through growth and many changes and each one of them needs the other for legitimate reasons, is not imposed by their religion which infect expected for only a couple to form.

"the point I think is to take an incredible idea and make it credible in our world." like I said before, your ABLE to do that but it takes a catch to be able to do that in our world aka your either RICH or POWERFUL or both or something else, Harems do NOT work with NORMAL HS kids in OUR world hence why this series FAILED, if he wanted to create a Fiction like harem working in our world he'd need some other fiction Rule to be able to tie them together but he didn't, jusrassic park 1 had MULTIPLE Rule Breakers to be able to work in our world hence making it believable to some degree

Also I did read Messengers of the sea but I dropped it back in the day because of some reason I can't remember :aquadrink:

Remember the chapter when the loli senpai showed her colleague how to write romance? Yeah compare to the present plot, that was hypocrite. If I knew this manga wasn't this heretic and was faking a good sense of romantic, I wouldn't have wasted my time following it

it REALLY started off good but just became so one-sided after 3 of them started dating and it’s not even equal in the sense of poly or harem relationship. it’s just one-side with the mc(shiki) only being with the black hair girl(Forgotten her name)

Don't get me wrong the manga is good. But once they gone poly it feels really OFF. There's time when i wanted to read about harem, there's even time when i want to read about gl. But author here really dropped both harem and gl out of NOWHERE. Still, I don't hate them. It's just that atleast author could've shown more about what happens once they started living together. Can't just end it so suddenly right? All in all, the beginning of the manga was great. Middle is meh. For the ending, thumbs down.

I guess I'm glad I found this late and didn't check in with comments as I read, I clearly read something completely different to everyone else.
